About the role

We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to help support the existing team at this independent rural Country Inn.

We are recruiting for energetic and passionate chef who wants to play a key part in a swiftly evolving company, whilst helping to maintain the standards and expectations of our very loyal customer base .

This is an exciting role with a fully established restaurant & bar that is set for great expansion over the next few years

The position is very hands on and we will not consider applications without high volume restaurant experience.

Job requirements:

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be organised. Critically you will be working with the Head Chef and junior team looking after the quality control on all dishes that leave the kitchen to ensure they are consistent and to spec.
Ideally, you will have branded and an independent background regarding your previous work history.
You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence, looking after when required; weekly orders, stock control, cleanliness and due diligence etc

Pay: From £29,000.00 per year

Experience:
Sous Chef: 3 years (preferred)
