Assistant Management Accountant

An established and forward-thinking organisation, my client has experienced sustained growth and is now looking to recruit a proactivemercially astute Assistant Management Accountant with a collaborative approach to join their expanding team and business.

Your new role

Working closely with the Head of Finance and part of a wider supportive finance team, this is a varied and exciting opportunity with key duties including:

- Control account, bank and intepany reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Support with monthly management accounts preparation, including profit/loss review, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Supporting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Assist with system implementation
- Process review and improvement

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified or nearingpletion, or studying towards their CIMA / ACCA studies. A track record working in a busy finance function with experience of supporting month-end processes and reporting will be highly beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential, as will a proactive and positive approach to systems and new technology.
