Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician - ERDC 💰 £29.94 per hour | 📍 5 days on-site | 📅 12 months | Inside IR35 We're looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading Engine Research & Development Centre, working within a state-of-the-art engine test facility. This is a great opportunity to work on advanced testbed and facility equipment, supporting engine development in a highly technical engineering environment. What you'll be doing Reactive, planned and preventative mechanical maintenance Fault finding, repairs and installation of facility equipment Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Reading mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings Supporting equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects Root cause analysis and technical problem solving Working alongside engineers, technicians and external contractors Supporting and mentoring apprentices and colleagues What we're looking for Engineering apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experience Confident fault-finding and diagnostics skills Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems or pipe fitting would be highly desirable Experience with laser alignment of rotating equipment is a bonus The opportunity £29.94 per hour | Inside IR35 12-month contract with strong potential to extend 5 days on-site If you're a hands-on Maintenance Technician looking to work on cutting-edge engine development and test facilities, this could be an excellent next move.
