Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Foreman for a live project in Newbury.

The project is currently in its early stages, with site stripping and clearance works underway.

Responsibilities:

Supervising an experienced team of groundworkers

Overseeing phase-one groundworks from initial stages through to completion

Managing raft slab construction

Supervising internal and external drainage installations

Overseeing foul pumping station works

Coordinating daily site activities, labour, plant and materials

Liaising with the Contracts Manager to ensure works progress safely and efficiently

Essential requirements:

Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman

Previous supervisory experience on raft slabs

Strong experience with internal and external drainage

Previous experience delivering foul pumping station works

Extensive knowledge of phase-one groundworks

Ability to manage an experienced groundworks team independently

Relevant site qualifications and certifications
