Machine Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a friendly and well-established plastic manufacturing factory based in the HU7 area. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering stability and the chance to develop new skills within a clean, non-food environment. Shift Pattern: ⦁ 4 on / 4 off shift rotation ⦁ 12-hour shifts ⦁ 1 hour break per shift (can be taken as 3 x 20-minute breaks) ⦁ 6pm-6am OR 6am-6pm (NOT Rotating) Pay Rate: ⦁ £13.31- £13.49 (Days)  ⦁ £14.29- £14.49 (Nights) Key Responsibilities: ⦁ Sorting and handling boxes of plastic caps ⦁ Completing basic paperwork accurately ⦁ General manual handling duties ⦁ Learning to set up and operate machinery About You: ⦁ Reliable and hardworking ⦁ Willing to learn and develop new skills ⦁ Comfortable with manual handling tasks ⦁ Able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern ⦁ Can work ongoing Night or Day shifts What’s on Offer: ⦁ Clean and friendly working environment ⦁ Full training provided ⦁ Opportunity to secure a permanent role ⦁ Supportive team atmosphere This is a great opportunity to join a welcoming factory with long-term potential for the right person.
