As a Workshop Fitter, youll work on a variety of heavy-duty machinery, including volumetric mixers, performing maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments to ensure top performance.

Position: Workshop Fitter Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands Working Hours: 45 hours per week Travel Required: Up to 10% (day travel) Salary & Benefits: Up to £45K per year (depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and one half over 45 hours per week 28 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays) Training & Upskilling Opportunities Career Progression within a Growing Company Pension & Healthcare Plan Safety-Focused and Supportive Work Environment Free parking Workwear Employee Assistance Programme Online GP appointments Life Assurance Loss of income insurance Your Role as a Workshop Fitter: Perform maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments on volumetric mixers Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime Work on hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding as needed Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records of work performed Occasionally visit customer sites for service and repairs (day travel only) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised workspace What You Need to Succeed: Experience as a Fitter working with heavy equipment (CAT, JCB, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar) Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, electrical fault-finding, and welding Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours shifts when required Why Choose This Role?
