Are you an Estimator or similar from a construction background looking to join a specialist civil engineering contractor, where you'll play a key role in the business, act as the face of the company during client and site visits, and work on high-profile projects such as Edinburgh Airport and Manchester's Trafford Centre?

This specialist civil engineering and building contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering complex projects for high-profile clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Estimator to join their team and take on a varied, client-facing role with the opportunity to make a real impact on the business.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing cost plans, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and securing competitive pricing across both new and existing contracts. You'll build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, attend site visits, and represent the company on multimillion-pound projects. To support you in this client-facing position, the company offers a generous car allowance.

This role would suit an Estimator or similar from a construction background who is looking to join a specialist civil engineering and building contractor where you will be the go-to-person and face of the company when dealing with clients and sub-contractors on multimillion pound contracts such as Edinburgh Airport.

The Role:

• Preparing cost plans, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and securing prices
• Representing the company through site visits and client meetings
• Building relationships and dealing with costs for new and existing clients

The Person:

• Estimator or similar from a construction background
• Worked on £1M+ projects in the past
• Full UK drivers license
• Commutable to Alloa
