PCB Assembler

Due to an increase in customer orders, we are looking for skilled PCB Assemblers to join an established electronics manufacturing company based in Stockport. Key Responsibilities Carry out PCB assembly to a high standard. Perform both conventional (through-hole) and surface-mount soldering. Solder a variety of connectors, including D-type connectors. Complete soldering work in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Carry out track and circuit board repairs. Remove and replace damaged electronic components, including resistors, diodes and capacitors. Work accurately with very small electronic components. Maintain a high standard of workmanship, quality and attention to detail. Skills & Experience Proven experience and competence in PCB assembly. Strong soldering skills, ideally with knowledge of or experience working to IPC standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
