Commercial Manager – Social Housing Planned WorksLocation: Swindon Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 Type: Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a growing contractor delivering major social housing planned works, refurbishment and retrofit programmes. This is a senior role overseeing the commercial delivery of three large-scale contracts, while leading and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors. Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager: Lead commercial delivery across multiple planned works contracts. Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors. Drive cost control, forecasting, profitability and commercial performance. Manage procurement, subcontractors, valuations, variations and final accounts. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners. Provide strategic commercial leadership and support business growth.  Projects Include Social housing planned maintenance Refurbishment and regeneration Retrofit and decarbonisation EWI, roofing and building envelope works Windows and doors Fire safety and compliance External and communal refurbishment  We are looking for a Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial professional with experience in: Social housing planned works Refurbishment or regeneration Retrofit / decarbonisation Residential construction Multi-site programmesStrong knowledge of JCT, NEC or partnering contracts is preferred, along with proven experience managing commercial teams and improving financial performance. MRICS or a relevant degree is desirable, as is PAS 2035 experience. What's on Offer?
