Environmental Health Officer

Role- Environmental Health Officer

Location- East of England

Duration- 3 months + extension

Rate- £ dependent on experience

I am currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join a local authority in the East of England on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will have experience across:

• Environmental Protection
• Statutory Nuisance & Noise Complaints
• Air Quality & Pollution Control
• Planning Consultations
• Private Sector Housing
• HHSRS Inspections
• HMO Licensing & Enforcement

Essential Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Environmental Health (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• Fully qualified Environmental Health Officer
• EHORB registration (or equivalent)
• Recent local authority experience
• Strong working knowledge of Environmental Protection and Housing legislation
• Full UK driving license preferred

This is an excellent opportunity for an EHO looking for a varied caseload covering both Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing disciplines.
