Forklift Driver

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a forklift Driver to start work immediately in Preston, PR2. Duties include: * Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. * Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods. * Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch. * Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems. Requirements: * Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment. * Valid Counterbalance licence. * Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS). * Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently. * Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures. * Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements. * Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.
