Accounts Assistant Part Time

Job Title: Accounts Assistant Location: Stockport Salary: £30,000 pro rata (based on 20 hours per week) Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week), Permanent Start Date: Immediate About Us Powerhub Solutions Limited delivers a suite of power-based energy reduction solutions that include voltage optimisation, KBR technologies, solar energy, and more. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our growing business in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sales ledger and debt collection experience who is also happy to support wider administrative and operational tasks. Key Responsibilities Handle all aspects of the sales ledger: raising and issuing invoices, allocating payments, and chasing outstanding debts Take a proactive approach to debt collection and credit control: monitoring aged debtors, following up overdue accounts by phone and email, and escalating where necessary Assist with day-to-day finance admin including data input, document management, and bank reconciliations Provide assistance with the purchase ledger as required Help maintain accurate sales ledger records and assist in preparing financial information for month-end reporting Provide general administrative support and ad-hoc assistance across the team as required What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role Strong sales ledger experience with a proven track record in debt collection and credit control A confident communicator who is comfortable chasing outstanding payments by phone and email Proficiency in Xero accounting software High attention to detail and strong organisational skills A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude Experience in purchasing or working with operational teams is a plus What’s on Offer Salary of £30,000 pro rata, based on 20 hours per week Quarterly bonus A varied role in a growing and supportive business Free on-site parking Opportunities for growth and development
