About the role

The Role

An established and highly regarded law firm is looking for a Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join its growing team.

You will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes, advising both private individuals and businesses. The role will have a particular focus on property and landlord & tenant disputes, alongside a broad range of other contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied dispute resolution and civil litigation caseload.

  • Advise clients on property and landlord & tenant disputes.

  • Handle commercial disputes, professional negligence, intellectual property, boundary disputes and contested wills/estates.

  • Deal with urgent matters, including injunctions where required.

  • Manage cases appropriate to your level of experience.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Contribute to networking, marketing and business development.

  • Support and provide guidance to colleagues where appropriate.

  • Maintain high standards of compliance, file management and client care.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.

  • Strong experience in dispute resolution and civil litigation.

  • Experience managing a caseload independently.

  • Property and landlord & tenant litigation experience is advantageous.

  • Strong drafting, research, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Well-organised, commercially aware and able to prioritise urgent matters.

  • A genuine interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development.
