Job Title: 2nd/3rd Line Engineer Location: Derry/ Londonderry Contract: Permanent, full-time Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours We're working with an organisation within the building and construction space to assist them with the expansion of their operations and IT function.

The Role This is a hands-on role which will involve assisting and covering infrastructure, networking and end-user technology.
This company is expanding into new sites therefore you will be involved in projects start to finish, designing and implementing the IT Infrastructure and Networking.
What You'll be Doing Deliver 2nd/3rd line technical support and IT infrastructure projects across new construction and building sites, ensuring systems are fully operational from day one.
Install, configure and troubleshoot servers, networks, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, firewalls and other core infrastructure within new and existing sites.
Work closely with project managers, contractors and third-party suppliers to coordinate IT infrastructure installations and ensure projects are delivered on time.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting across Microsoft environments, Active Directory, Azure/M365, networking and end-user technologies, resolving complex technical issues.
Travel to new and developing sites across Northern Ireland, taking ownership of infrastructure deployments, commissioning and ongoing technical support.
Experience 2nd/3rd line IT infrastructure experience, supporting servers, networks, systems and end-user environments.
Hands-on experience configuring switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VLANs, DHCP, DNS and firewalls.
Experience deploying and commissioning IT infrastructure in new offices, buildings, sites or facilities.
End-user technology: Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other equipment required to get a new site operational.
Site technology: Structured cabling, patch panels, access points, CCTV, access control, VoIP/telephony and connectivity to new buildings.
