About the role
At Cappagh Browne, we know that great customer experiences are built through clear communication, trust, and strong relationships. We're looking for a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Customer Representative to support customers and communities affected by our civils and utility projects, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued throughout their journey with us.
As a Customer Representative, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing information about planned works, responding to enquiries, managing customer communications, and helping to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. You'll engage directly with residents and businesses, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, support community engagement activities, and work closely with operational teams to ensure customers receive timely updates and an excellent service. This role will see you balancing customer care, administration, and stakeholder engagement to help deliver positive outcomes for both our customers and our business.
About CBUL
Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions. With a reputation for safety, reliability and technical expertise, Cappagh Browne plays a critical role in protecting communities and maintaining essential infrastructure.
What We're Looking For:
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Experience in a customer service, customer relations, complaints handling, or community-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to customers face-to-face, over the phone, and in writing.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle enquiries and challenging situations professionally.
Good organisational and administrative skills, including experience using IT systems to maintain accurate records.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A positive, approachable attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
