About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Cleethorpes NJC Pay Scale 3 | Term Time Only + 5 Training Days + ELT Trust  Hours: 31.25 per week | Monday–Friday | 8:45am – 3:30pm (30 min lunch) We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join a supportive and inclusive school community in Cleethorpes. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. About the Role You will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, ensuring they are able to access learning, develop independence, and thrive both academically and emotionally. You will support children across: Communication and Interaction needs Cognition and Learning difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)We are looking for someone who is: A committed, driven and effective team player Experienced in supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD Confident working within a school environment with an understanding of individual learning needs Adaptable, intuitive, and able to adjust practice to keep pupils engaged Able to use (or willing to be trained in) relevant SEN strategies and interventions Professional, reliable, and has a strong record of good attendance and timekeeping Positive, resilient, and brings a good sense of humour to the roleRequirements Relevant Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent experience in a school setting Experience supporting children with additional needs is essential Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practiceWhat We Offer A supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and development A chance to make a meaningful impact every day A rewarding role supporting children to reach their full potentialIf you are passionate about inclusive education and want to help children thrive, we would love to hear from you.
