We're seeking an experienced PMO Manager to establish and lead our Project Management Office. What you need to know about the role This is a rare opportunity to build a PMO from the ground up, impacting, project delivery, and organisational change across a complex industrial business. * Establish and lead the British Steel PMO function. * Develop project, programme and portfolio governance frameworks. * Oversee project performance, risks, costs, benefits, and dependencies. * Support strategic investment and prioritisation decisions. * Drive project management best practice and continuous improvement. * Influence stakeholders and provide insight to senior leadership. What we need to know about you * Experience delivering large-scale transformation, operational improvement or capital investment programmes. * Strong PMO, portfolio management or programme experience. * Expertise in governance, financial controls and benefits realisation. * Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. * PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent project management qualification. * Strong understanding of PMO best practice and portfolio management methodologies.
