Rotork Controls Limited We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and Reporting Manager to join our organisation in Bath, United Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will lead our data analytics team, driving data-driven decision-making across the company and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to key stakeholders. Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics strategies aligned with organisational goals Manage a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities Design and maintain robust reporting systems and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver insightful analyses Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics processes Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures Present complex data findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence Optimise data collection, storage, and retrieval processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, promoting the use of analytics in decision-making Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and reporting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing data teams Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI Strong skills in statistical analysis software, including R, Python, or SAS Expertise in database management systems, particularly SQL and Oracle Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and business intelligence best practices Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Strong leadership and team management abilities Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences Relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are desirable
