About the role
BIM Technician Location: Bridgend Working Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid (2 days in office) Contract: 3 Months initially with potential extension Hours: 37 hours per week Monday Thursday: 08:15 16:30 Friday: 08:15 16:00 Flexible working hours available.

The Role We are looking for a BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex projects across the water, buildings, and industrial sectors.
You will work within a collaborative design team using BIM and Digital Engineering tools to produce high-quality coordinated models and construction information.
Key Responsibilities Produce accurate REVIT and AutoCAD 2D/3D models.
Create and manage REVIT families.
Coordinate models using BIM 360 Glue and Navisworks Manage.
Liaise with multidisciplinary design teams to resolve clashes and project issues.
Support project delivery by producing high-quality construction information.
Review and improve BIM processes and workflows.
Respond to site queries and support smaller project delivery.
Share knowledge and best practice within the wider technical team.
Requirements BTEC HNC (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline.
Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
Understanding of BIM standards including BS 1192 and PAS 1192.
Knowledge of CDEs, coordination software, and 4D programming.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
RC detailing skills and site experience are desirable. xwzovoh
