Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. The Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for: * Provide a comprehensive engineering service to the site, ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, and the Company IMS. * Maintain maximum equipment availability through safe, efficient planned maintenance, fault resolution, and technical support for projects, commissioning, and hand‑over activities. * Responsible for the service, maintenance, and repairs on installations such as ventilation systems - (AHU, Intake / extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCU's etc.) and water system assets, such as booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters etc. * Complete accurate documentation (work logs, asset history, permits-to-work) and liaise with planning teams to align activity with GxP guidelines, SOPs, PPM schedules, KPIs, and site requirements. To be successful for this Mechanical Engineer role you must have: * Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation within the scope of the contract. * A recognised trade training scheme (desired) and strong competency across mechanical and associated electrical resets. * NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering. * IOSH Working Safely, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, and relevant technical certifications (e.g., C&G Competent Person Mechanical & Pressure Systems, Level 3 NVQ Heating & Ventilation, Level 2 H&V Industrial & Commercial Installations).
