Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Warwickshire / Onsite Contract Type: Contract (4 months) Pay: £50 per hour DOE (Outside IR35) About the Role A growing engineering technology business is seeking a Contract Design Engineer to support ongoing product development activities within a fast-paced technical environment. The role will focus on design, development, testing, and engineering support across specialist engineering projects. What You’ll Do • Produce 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation • Support prototype build, manufacture, and testing activities • Create and review engineering drawings and technical documentation • Assist with validation and development activities • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across development projects What We’re Looking For • Experience within engineering product development environments • Strong CAD capability using SolidWorks or Fusion 360 • Understanding of electro-mechanical systems • Ability to read and produce engineering drawings and schematics • Hands-on engineering approach • Comfortable working in a fast-paced contract environment Please submit your latest CV if interested in the position
