An excellent opportunity has arisen for an AML Risk & Compliance Analyst to join the London office of a prestigious US law firm. Working as part of a collaborative Risk & Compliance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm's AML and financial crime obligations are met while supporting lawyers across a broad range of international matters.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting AML and Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks for new and existing clients.
• Carrying out sanctions screening, Politically Exposed Person (PEP) checks and risk assessments.
• Reviewing complex corporate structures and verifying beneficial ownership information.
• Preparing AML reports and risk assessments for senior compliance approval.
• Advising partners and fee earners on AML requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Supporting ongoing client monitoring, periodic reviews and remediation projects.
• Assisting with the development of AML policies, procedures and process improvements.
• Supporting internal and external audits, compliance projects and the onboarding of new team members.

About You

You'll have:

• Previous AML or Risk & Compliance experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
• A strong understanding of UK AML regulations, CDD and sanctions requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
