About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join the team on a part‑time basis.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the practice, overseeing administration, operational management, and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the administrative and non‑clinical team
  • Oversee practice operations, ensuring compliance with NHS and CQC standards
  • Support financial management, including budgets and reporting
  • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, appraisal, and staff development
  • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and quality initiatives
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff, patients, and external partners
  • Facilitate workflow optimisation and practice efficiency

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in practice management or healthcare administration
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of NHS procedures, CQC standards, and primary care operations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and problem‑solve proactively
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement
