Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver Location: Bootle Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: From £34,320 per year We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver in the Bootle area. Main duties of the role: * Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials. * Delivery / Collection of waste materials to/from various locations around the UK. * Some manual work will be required and occasional yard work. * Hours of work will be as and when required in order to complete your duties in accordance with the legal requirements for an HGV driver with a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. * Full compliance with high standards of health and safety regulations including PPE at all times. * Complete all duties in a safe and responsible manner. * Ensuring the daily walkaround safety inspection is completed, the results recorded and any defects reported to the Site Manager. * Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in any vehicle used, taking care of all equipment given If you are interested in our HGV Class 1 Driver role, or would like some more information, please apply now
