KS4 SEN Teacher

We are looking for a high-quality SEN Teacher to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Southwark. This is a full-time role within a specialist KS4 setting, working with a class of 7 pupils who are currently working towards Year 1 levels, with 2 pupils working at Year 2 levels. The class has a range of communication needs, including pupils who use iPads for communication, core boards, and verbal communication. The school is seeking a nurturing and adaptable teacher with experience supporting pupils with complex SEND and communication needs. This is a long-term opportunity with a supportive classroom team already in place. You will be: * Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs * Supporting pupils with complex SEND and communication needs * Working with pupils who use alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), including iPads and core boards * Demonstrating strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills * Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team * Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment * Reflective, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and have experience working with pupils with SEND.
