About the role

The Role

We are one of the leading Private Client teams in the East Midlands and are continuing to grow. As part of this expansion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Nottingham office and strengthen our Court of Protection department.

We are keen to hear from either a newly qualified Solicitor with experience in Court of Protection matters, or a Solicitor with up to 3 years’ post‑qualification experience (PQE). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise within a highly regarded and supportive team, working on a varied and rewarding caseload.

The team deals with a range of Court of Protection matters such as trust and charity administration, deputyships, and tax issues.

The role will involve supporting the Partners while also managing your own caseload. You will handle a varied portfolio of deputyship matters on behalf of clients who have sustained serious injuries, offering both responsibility and breadth of experience.

The successful candidate will have prior experience of managing a caseload, delivering high‑quality client care, and building strong client relationships. A proactive attitude is essential, along with genuine enthusiasm for business development and networking.

Ideal candidates will be technically strong with an eye for detail, be good communicators and possess excellent client‑care skills. They will be naturally self‑motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude towards challenges and change, as well as embracing the culture of working in an open‑plan environment.
