A prominent local authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Class 3 RBI to support their Building Control team on a part-time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an inspector who prefers the flexibility of a 3-day working week while maintaining a consistent, ongoing workload.
The Role
Commitment: 3 days per week (Flexible days).
Duration: Long-term, ongoing interim contract.
Location: North West England (Site visits required).
IR35 Status: Inside IR35.
Rate: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience and competency level.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical advice on complex building projects falling under Class 3 requirements.
Conduct site inspections and plan checking to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and relevant regulations.
Support the local authority in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance within the region.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Requirements
BSR Registration: Must be a Registered Building Inspector (Class 3).
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing high-risk buildings or complex commercial/residential projects.
