Your new role
You will play a key role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of fit-out schemes. Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will review drawings and specifications, develop detailed cost plans, liaise with supply chain partners and ensure that tender submissions are commercially robust and aligned with project requirements. You will support the preparation of tender documentation, assess project risks, analyse subcontractor quotations and contribute to value-engineering discussions. The role requires strong commercial awareness, an ability to interpret technical information and a commitment to producing high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience in estimating within a construction or fit-out environment, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical documents confidently. Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent communication and a methodical approach are essential. Experience working on interior fit-out or refurbishment projects will be highly advantageous, as will proficiency in estimating software and Excel. A relevant qualification in construction, quantity surveying or a related discipline is desirable.
