Electrical Site Manager Location: St George Hospital HV/LV Panel at hospital. 3 months of work but likely to be extended About the Opportunity An established, family-owned building services contractor with over 60 years of experience is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their growing projects team. Working across London and the South East, the business delivers high-quality mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance within commercial, education, healthcare, public sector and industrial environments. They are known for investing in their people, delivering projects to a high standard and maintaining long-term relationships with both clients and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager looking to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and genuine long-term career prospects. The Role As Electrical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of electrical installation projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, engineers and clients to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Manage electrical installation works on commercial building services projects. * Supervise and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on site. * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specification. * Carry out site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship. * Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation. * Coordinate deliveries, materials and labour requirements. * Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and the wider project team. * Review drawings and identify any design or installation issues. * Maintain accurate site records and progress reports. * Support commissioning activities and project handovers. What We're Looking For * Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor. * Strong background delivering commercial electrical installations. * Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and site practices. * Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * SMSTS or SSSTS qualification. * ECS/CSCS Card. * First Aid qualification (desirable). * Testing & Inspection qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
