Salary: £84,000 (Basic plus Bonus)

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Hotel Operations Manager to join a hotel in London.
This is a senior leadership position for an accomplished hospitality professional who understands what it takes to deliver exceptional guest experiences, high operational standards and strong commercial results.
You will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel, working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team to drive performance, develop people and continuously improve the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring consistently high standards across all departments.
- Lead, motivate and develop departmental managers and operational teams.
- Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and ensure outstanding service standards.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs, productivity and profitability.
- Take responsibility for budgets, cost control, labour management and operational performance.
- Work closely with the General Manager and senior management team on business strategy and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, employment and operating standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where required.
- Develop and maintain effective SOPs and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue and overall hotel performance.
- Support recruitment, training, succession planning and employee development.
- Manage operational challenges confidently and provide effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.
- Support hotel projects, refurbishments, new initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
About You
We are looking for a proven hotel operator with significant experience in a senior operational management position.
You should have:
- Strong previous experience as a Hotel Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager, Hotel Manager or similar senior role.
- Extensive experience within the hotel/hospitality industry.
- A strong understanding of hotel operations across multiple departments.
- Proven experience managing and developing large teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience of budgets, KPIs and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
- A genuine passion for guest experience and service excellence.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and operational compliance.
- Experience working within a quality-driven or premium/luxury hotel environment would be highly advantageous.
