Financial Controller TLNT1_NI

An established Mid-Antrim group is seeking an experienced finance professional to join as Financial Controller and sit on its senior management team. The position reports in the Managing Director and is responsible for maintaining strong financial control while providing accurate, timely and commercially relevant information to support business performance, profitability and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a small team and enjoy being involved with all aspects of a day-to-day finance function. What We Offer £50k - £60k base salary On site parking 29 days leave (inc stats) Company pension Career progression routes Key Responsibilities Stock & Funding: Oversee stock, stock funding facilities, ageing and working capital, ensuring effective cash-flow management. Finance Compliance: Maintain financial oversight of group finance activities and liaise with the appointed representative on compliance and training requirements. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate statistical data and composite accounts, ensuring manufacturer reporting is timely and fully reconciled. Management Accounts & MI: Produce monthly management accounts, budgets and meaningful financial information to support senior management and departmental decision-making. Financial Control: Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company accounts, stock and WIP. Payroll & Tax: Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax requirements and support year-end statutory reporting. Team & Commercial Leadership: Lead the finance team, strengthen financial processes and work with management to identify risks, opportunities and improvements in profitability and performance. About You Experienced in a managerial position. Strong commercial understanding of profitability, cash flow and working capital. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Confident working with senior management and operational departments. Experience with accounting software, Professional, proactive and capable of taking ownership of the finance function.
