Senior Design Architect

Our client, with multiple offices and a reputation for design excellence and technical precision, is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their expanding team. Architects based in Edinburgh are also encouraged to apply given the practice’s wide-ranging projects across both cities.
You will lead on the technical delivery of projects, initially focusing on high-quality residential developments, with opportunities to work on bespoke homes, commercial offices, complex refurbishments, new builds as well as specialist defence and MOD schemes. Project values typically range from £5m–£30m, with involvement in landmark developments of £120m+.

Beyond the projects themselves, you’ll join a collaborative and creative team where innovation, professional development, and design excellence are actively supported. Lead and manage projects through all RIBA stages, helping to lead a small design team
Over see & produce high-quality technical drawings using Revit on a daily basis
Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong communication and design intent throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and work well in a project team to deliver detailed designs

Experience in Revit is highly preferred
Proven ability to lead projects independently and in collaboration with a team
Experience in residential, commercial, and/or MOD projects is desirable but not essential
Competitive salary ranging between, £45,000 to £50,000 DOE
