Off to Work is supporting our client, a leading independent school in the recruitment of an Catering & Hospitality Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a high-volume, quality-focused environment and enjoys being part of a dynamic school community.

This is a varied role overseeing the school's daily catering operation, with a primary focus on the lunchtime service, alongside responsibility for the café and hospitality events. You will lead the operation and ensure consistently high standards of food and service for approximately 1,000 students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily catering operation, with particular responsibility for the lunchtime service.
Liaise with the Head Chef on daily menus, allergens and dietary requirements.
Manage the front of house ensuring effective staffing and service delivery.
Oversee staff rotas, training, performance and operational standards.
Manage purchasing, stock control and ordering for daily catering and events.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day café operation.
Oversee the planning and delivery of hospitality & events, working closely with the Hospitality Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with food & hygiene safety, allergen management and health and safety.

About You
At least three years' experience in a similar catering or hospitality management role.
Proven experience managing teams and overseeing a busy catering operation.
A hands-on management approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
