Assistant Purchase Ledger Southwark, London Up to £28,000 + Benefits A well-established £50m+ turnover construction contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Purchase Ledger to join its friendly and supportive finance team at its modern Southwark office. Key Responsibilities * Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately. * Matching, batching and coding invoices. * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries. * Assisting with payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts. * Liaising with site teams and subcontractors regarding invoice approvals. * Supporting month-end finance processes. * Maintaining accurate records within Sage. * Providing general administrative support to the finance department. Requirements * Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential. * Experience using Sage accounting software. * An Accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent) is desirable. * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
