As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to be part of the trajectory and triumph of our oil trading activitiesOverviewSupport an oil trading team through fundamental analysis, quantitative modelling, risk monitoring, and trade execution. The role translates market data and supply-demand balances into actionable views across derivative markets.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain oil supply-and-demand balances.Analyse refinery runs, inventories, vessel movements, arbitrage economics, weather, power demand, and macro drivers.Develop trade views across cracks, time spreads, geographical spreads, crude spreads, and flat price.Build and enhance Python, SQL, and Excel models, dashboards, and trading signals.Monitor P&L, positions, exposures, and daily risk.Produce concise market commentary and communicate trade ideas clearly.RequirementsBetween 5-7 years of experienceDegree in economics, finance, engineering, maths, or a related quantitative discipline.Relevant experience in oil including fuel oil and crudeStrong understanding of physical oil markets, supply-demand fundamentals, and derivatives.Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and commercial judgement.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.Must be based in Geneva or ZugWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation, inclusive of performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package.Pathways for professional growth and career development.A dynamic and supportive work environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged.Opportunity to be part of building a great business where your efforts are recognized and valued.
