About the role

We’re partnering with a leading global asset manager looking to appoint two Senior Quantitative Analysts to join its specialist Climate & Nature team, with opportunities available in London and Geneva.

Salary: ~£150k base + bonus in London, with flexibility for the right candidate
Location: London or Geneva
Visa sponsorship: Available for London | Not currently available for Geneva

This is an investment-focused quantitative research role where you’ll develop proprietary Climate & Nature investment frameworks, quantitative models and investment signals that are embedded directly into the investment process.

Working at the intersection of quantitative research, sustainable investing and investment management, you’ll transform complex sustainability datasets into proprietary analytics that support real investment decisions.

This is a specialist Climate & Nature Investment Quant role – not a traditional portfolio analytics, ETF or product management position.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Developing proprietary Climate & Nature investment frameworks, including Implied Temperature Rise (ITR) and other sustainability analytics.
  • Building quantitative models and investment signals using climate, emissions, transition risk, biodiversity and nature-related datasets.
  • Evaluating sustainability data, developing proprietary datasets and ensuring their quality and robustness.
  • Working closely with investment, research and technology teams to translate quantitative research into actionable investment insights.

I’m keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • A PhD in a quantitative discipline. Master’s-level candidates and other strong academic backgrounds may also be considered.
  • Strong Python programming, quantitative modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Around 5–10+ years’ quantitative experience working with ESG, sustainability, climate, emissions, transition risk, biodiversity or nature-related datasets.
  • A background in sustainable investing, climate analytics or environmental data.

This is an opportunity to apply your quantitative expertise to one of the fastest-growing areas of asset management, helping develop proprietary research, datasets and investment frameworks that directly influence investment decisions.
