Heating Engineer / Plumber (Permanent)

Christ’s College has an opportunity for a qualified plumber/heating engineer to join the College’s maintenance department. Plumber / Heating Engineer Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time, 36.5 hours per week The post-holder will take responsibility for planning and executing all plumbing and associated work on the College site and at the College’s associated external properties in and around Cambridge. As well as being responsible for all the plumbing and heating requirements, the role entails keeping up to date with the on-line fault reporting system, liaising with contract tradesmen, responding to urgent jobs including being available for emergency callouts on an agreed basis and supporting the overall work of the department. We would like to hear from you if you have an NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing and heating, and previous experience in domestic plumbing systems, even if your experience is limited.
