LGV CE Driver

Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular work in Birmingham? With flexibility to do 3 4 or 5 shifts per week. Want to work with one of the UK's leading supply chain logistics providers? Day shifts are available between Monday to Friday with optional weekend work with start times between 05:00hrs and 11:00hrs.

This role will involve:

- Making deliveries & collections nationwide including to airports
- Variety of runs anywhere from 3-5 drops per day
- 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 8 hours paid)
- 3 to 5 shifts per week
- No handball
- Site is based in Erdington, Birmingham
- Overtime available after 40 hours completed

Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:

- Have at least 6 months C+E experience
- Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years
- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers PAYE rates of pay:

Days - £16.95 per hour (Overtime after 40 hours paid at £25.43 per hour)

Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:

- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
- Full site and safe xwzovoh systems of work induction
- Vehicle familiarisation
- Practical driving assessment
- Bridge Strike Safety
- Security checks and vetting will be taking place
