Permanent | Full-Time

LMC Chartered Accountants are seeking a motivated and organised Payroll Administrator to join our growing payroll department.

This opportunity would suit someone looking to build a long-term professional career within payroll and accountancy services. Previous payroll experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of payrolls
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
  • Supporting PAYE, pension and payroll compliance administration
  • Responding to payroll-related queries professionally and confidentially
  • Working with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Supporting the payroll team with administrative and compliance duties

Training & Career Development:

The successful candidate will receive practical in-house payroll training throughout the first year of employment.

In the second year of employment, the employee will undertake a professional payroll qualification, funded by LMC Chartered Accountants, to support continued professional development and career progression.

The second-year arrangement includes:

  • Four office working days per week
  • One unpaid study day per week allocated for coursework and qualification completion

LMC Chartered Accountants will fund:

  • Course registration fees
  • Approved tuition fees
  • First-attempt examination fees
  • Approved course materials

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional and confidential approach to work
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
