Moore SGD Law LLP is a dynamic law firm offering a full range of legal services, uniquely positioned to help businesses, families and individuals realise their ambitions.Our corporate team specialises in company law, group reorganisations, investments and shareholder agreements, share incentives, employee ownership trusts, management buyouts and mergers and acquisitions. We work closely with clients to help them navigate complex transactions and achieve their strategic objectives.We’re looking for a Solicitor who enjoys working on a broad range of corporate matters. You’ll advise clients across a wide range of corporate law issues, often where legal considerations intersect with accountancy and tax work. This is a genuinely collaborative role, working closely with colleagues across the wider advisory services practice to deliver joined‑up, high‑quality advice.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will advise a broad range of clients on corporate and business law matters, including:Company law and general business law adviceGroup reorganisations, including capital reductions, share buybacks, share exchanges and reconstructionsCapital investments and strategic advice to new and developing businessesJoint ventures, investment and shareholders’ agreementsMergers and acquisitions of companies and businessesEmployee Ownership TrustsSkills, Knowledge and Expertise4-6 years’ post qualified experienceLPC qualification or equivalentMust hold a valid Solicitors Practising CertificateExperience specialising in corporate law Experience of working within a partnership environmentStrong intellect and ability to think creativelyExcellent technical drafting, written communication and analytical skills are essentialCredible and competent in dealing with difficult situations.Ability to influence and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritiseTeam playerShares the firm’s desire to help our clients realise their ambitionsExperience of the following would be helpful, but not essential:Employee Share Options and Employee Ownership TrustsCommercial law and commercial agreementsBenefitsDepartmentLegal - Corporate Employment TypePermanent - Full TimeWorkplace typeHybrid
