Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Gloucester. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to their quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment supplying high-precision components to demanding industries. Key Responsibilities * Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined components. * Program and operate Aberlink CMM equipment. * Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. * Perform dimensional inspections using a range of inspection equipment. * Complete inspection reports and quality documentation. * Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions. * Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards. Experience Required * Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment. * Proven experience programming and operating Aberlink CMM machines. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. * Competent using: * Vernier calipers * Micrometers * Bore gauges * Height gauges * General precision measuring equipment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
