About the role

NEW QUALITY ENGINEER IN WHITSTABLE. A leading manufacturer of a range of complex electronic applications for the military and aerospace industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer, Metrology Engineer or experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in dimensional inspection and precision measurement. You will be responsible for maintaining inspection plans and quality records, carrying out measurement activities and supporting the manufacturing team in improving process capability and reducing scrap. Responsibilities as an Quality Engineer in Whitstable. * Carry out dimensional inspection using CMM and other measurement equipment. * Maintain detailed inspection plans, ISIRs and FAIRs. * Support First Article Inspection activities. * Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T requirements. * Work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to resolve issues. * Maintain accurate quality and inspection records.
