Electrical Fitter

Join a nationally renowned manufacturer in the West Yorkshire area as an Electrical Fitter. This Electrical Fitter position is ideal for someone with a background in OEM machinery, electrical assembly and testing looking for a long-term move. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, wire and test OEM machinery and electrical assemblies Work from complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings Maintain quality standards and follow all Health & Safety procedures Support team members and assist with training where required Identify and escalate electrical faults or non-conformance issues Complete documentation, production records, and stock control What's in it for you as an Electrical Fitter: Salary of £35,932 on a skilled grade Early finish every Friday Staggered day shift (start between 06:00 - 07:30, fixed once agreed) 8-hour days Monday to Thursday, 5.5 hours Friday Clean, well-organised workshop with modern equipment Stable, long-term opportunity with development potential What We're Looking For: Experience working as an Electrical Fitter or similar role NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Minimum two year's experience in electrical assembly and testing of OEM machinery Experience with control panel assembly, wiring and low-voltage electrical systems Ability to read complex electrical schematic diagrams and work independently Strong attention to detail and electrical aptitude The site is based in Leeds and is easily accessible from Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, and surrounding areas.
