HR Systems Project Lead

An organisation is seeking an experienced HR Systems Project Lead on an interim basis to support the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate sifting solution. This role will lead the project from initiation through early delivery, ensuring a structured, efficient, and well-governed rollout. Key Skills & Experience Strong HR domain expertise, particularly across recruitment processes and systems Proven experience working with Workday (essential), including implementation and/or optimisation Experience working within public sector Demonstrable track record delivering HR systems implementations, specifically ATS or recruitment platforms Ability to rapidly assess current-state processes and define effective future-state solutionsProject & Delivery Capability Experience initiating and structuring projects from the ground up, including: Project mobilisation Planning and governance Timeline development Strong stakeholder management experience across HR, IT, and third-party vendors Ability to drive delivery, manage risks, remove blockers, and ensure milestones are achievedTechnical & Functional Expertise Strong understanding of HR systems architecture, integrations, and data flows Ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions Comfortable contributing to system configuration decisions and engaging with vendorsPersonal Profile Proactive, hands-on, and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and influencing skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on deliveryIf this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
