Interim Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant 3-Month Interim Contract | Immediate Start | (2 Days On-Site) Bristol £Day Rate DOEI'm currently working with a highly regarded public sector organisation in the Bristol area that requires urgent interim finance support following an unexpected sickness absence within the team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance function during a critical period, providing support through month-end, forecasting and budget management activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Producing monthly management accounts Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes Financial analysis and reporting Partnering with operational managers and budget holders Providing financial support throughout a busy month-end cycleThis role would suit someone who can quickly integrate into an established team, build strong stakeholder relationships and operate with minimal supervision from day one.The ideal candidate will have: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience Strong management accounting experience Previous finance business partnering exposure Excellent stakeholder management skills The ability to work independently and hit the ground running Public sector, healthcare or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous but is not essentialKey Information Immediate start required Initial 3-month contract Interviewing this week Hybrid working 2 days per week on-site Supportive and collaborative finance team Opportunity to make an immediate impact during a key reporting periodIf you're an experienced interim finance professional available at short notice and looking for your next assignment, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact Charles Maidment at Hays Senior Finance for a confidential discussion.
