C- Band 3 (Housing)  Location: County Hall, Northumberland, NE61 2EF  Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour  Start Date: Monday, 25 May 2026  Contract End Date: Friday, 21 August 2026  Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Temporary   About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join the Housing team based in Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy housing environment, supporting maintenance and property teams with a range of labouring duties to help ensure properties and work areas are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Assisting tradespeople on housing maintenance and repair works Moving materials, equipment, and tools safely around site Clearing and preparing work areas Carrying out general labouring and manual handling duties Ensuring sites are kept clean, safe, and organised Supporting the delivery of responsive housing repairs and maintenance services Requirements Previous labouring or construction experience preferred Ability to undertake physically demanding work Good awareness of health and safety practices Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude Ability to work well as part of a team Full PPE preferred If you are interested in this opportunity and available to start immediately, apply today
