Designer – Solar & Heating Job Title: Design Manager – Solar PV & Biomass Heating Job reference Number: 161734-3974-26181 Industry Sector: Design Manager, Designer, CAD Designer, CAD Technician, Senior Designer, Commercial Construction, Servicing Engineer, Solar PV, P&H, Heating, Heat Pump, HVAC, Industrial Boilers, Biomass, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, House builders, Local Authorities, Social Construction Hybrid role based from: Melton Mowbray Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000neg + Car Allowance Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Designer – Solar PV & Biomass Heating will involve: · Designer position working on a range of Commercial and Industrial Solar PV & Biomass heating projects · Based out of the Melton Mowbray office with requirement to visit on-going projects · Overseeing the production and coordination of HVAC/heating system designs. · Reviewing technical drawings, calculations and specifications. · Liaising with clients, consultants, architects and project managers. · Ensuring designs comply with regulations, industry standards and client requirements. · Managing design programmes to support project delivery. · Providing technical guidance and mentoring to design engineers. · Coordinating design changes and value engineering opportunities. · Supporting pre-construction, tender and project delivery teams.
