About the role
Role Purpose
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering a proactive, consultative, and commercially focused resourcing service across Mitie Fire & Security. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval through to onboarding, whilst driving direct sourcing, headhunting, talent pipelining, and stakeholder engagement strategies to secure exceptional talent.
A key element of this role is partnering with leaders across the business to influence hiring decisions, provide market intelligence, challenge resourcing approaches where appropriate, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with the Business
* Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
* Provide market insight, salary benchmarking, and recruitment expertise.
* Influence hiring decisions and support workforce planning activities.
* Lead vacancy briefings and advise on effective hiring strategies.
Finding the Best Talent
* Develop sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent.
* Proactively headhunt through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
* Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
* Drive direct sourcing initiatives to reduce agency reliance.
Managing Recruitment
* Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from approval to onboarding.
* Manage vacancies through PageUp, ensuring a compliant and efficient process.
* Screen, assess, and present shortlisted candidates.
* Coordinate interviews, offers, negotiations, and onboarding.
Candidate Experience & Improvement
* Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and feedback.
* Analyse recruitment performance and market trends.
* Produce recruitment insights and reporting.
* Identify opportunities to improve attraction strategies, processes, and hiring outcomes.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
* Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capability.
* Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interviewing, assessment, and communication skills.
* Experience using ATS platforms, ideally PageUp.
