An exciting opportunity has arisen for an immediately available Interim Supply Chain Specialist to join a rapidly growing foodservice business with ambitious UK expansion plans. Based in London, you will support the day-to-day management of supply chain and distribution operations, ensuring excellent product availability across a multi-site restaurant network. Client Details Our client is a globally established foodservice organisation currently investing heavily in its UK growth strategy. Description The Interim Supply Chain Specialist will provide operational supply chain support during a period of transition while a permanent appointment is finalised. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the business and manage day-to-day supply chain activities with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include: Managing third-party logistics (3PL) and distributor relationships. Supporting the day-to-day supply chain and distribution operation. Monitoring stock availability and maintaining continuity of supply across restaurant locations. Coordinating inbound shipments and supporting import activities. Managing supply disruptions and shipping delays, escalating issues where necessary. Analysing operational data and reporting through extensive spreadsheet use. Working closely with restaurant operators and internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain issues. Ensuring high service levels are maintained across the network. Contributing to operational stability throughout the interim period.Profile Must be immediately available to start. Proven supply chain operations experience. Essential experience managing 3PL providers and distributor relationships. Experience within QSR, casual dining, foodservice, hospitality, or restaurant environments. Hotel food supply chain experience will also be considered. Strong understanding of distribution and inventory management. Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills with the ability to analyse operational data. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Able to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal support. Calm, collaborative, and service-focused approach.Job Offer Temp / Interim contract opportunity (circa 6 months).
