Join a community committed to driving forward the future of energy.Job DescriptionYou will support the delivery of mechanical building services designs across critical ancillary nuclear facilities.The role spans design review, technical coordination and onsite engineering support during installation phases.ð️Review mechanical building services execution designs against NNB technical specifications ðSupport development of scopes for early-stage mechanical design packages ðCoordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams and respective Contract Engineering Leads ðChallenge supplier proposals where designs diverge from agreed project requirements ð¡️Maintain focus on health, safety and quality management compliance standards ðEnsure Lifetime Quality Records documentation remains complete and accurately maintained ️Support technical resolution of onsite queries, changes and non-conformance reports ðManage interfaces with stakeholders, contractors, consultants and wider project delivery teams ðSupport reporting, escalation activities and risk mitigation meetings when required ð ️Assist development of final operation and maintenance manuals for completed facilitiesQualificationsðDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline ðStrong mechanical building services engineering experience within complex building projects ðExperience delivering designs from concept through commissioning and handover stages ð️Knowledge of UK building regulations, CIBSE standards and engineering procedures ðExperience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary building design activities ðStrong understanding of RIBA Plan of Work and BSRIA guidance ðExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaborative teamworking abilities Ability to work proactively, independently and manage competing project priorities ð¡️Experience applying QA processes, configuration control and quality management principles ðFluent English communication skills; French language capability would be advantageousAdditional Informationð Why Apply?Join Assystem and become a key player in delivering critical nuclear projects that shape the future of energy.
